About Bailit Health

Bailit Health is a consulting firm dedicated to ensuring insurer and provider performance accountability on behalf of public agencies and employer purchasers. Bailit Health Purchasing, LLC was founded in 1997 by former senior executives of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. Our staff consists of a team of experienced professionals who have worked together for many years.

The Bailit Health team strives to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients. We understand that each of our clients operates in a unique environment and we are committed to ensuring that we bring value that is tailored to the particular needs of each client.

Our mission is to assist organizations to achieve measurable improvements in quality and cost management for enrolled or covered populations, from contracted or regulated providers and health plans. We are committed to the belief that comprehensive performance requirements and aggressive performance management, combined with financial incentives that align with performance objectives, are the necessary ingredients for ensuring superior performance.

Employment Opportunities

Consultant

We seek a full-time consultant to join our dynamic, mission-driven firm. The individual will be expected to work on a mix of projects supporting our state agency and other clients. We seek someone with:

  • passion for and personal commitment to our mission and work;
  • ability to problem-solve independently and work well with small teams of colleagues;
  • very strong quantitative skills, including but not limited to mastery of Excel;
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • ability to manage workstreams and deliverables for complex projects, and
  • the aptitude to thrive in a small business environment.

This position requires one to five years of relevant work experience or recent graduation of a related master´s degree program. We will consider other equivalent experience, such as personal or volunteering experience, in addition to traditional professional experience. Salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience. The position will be based in our Needham, MA office, with hybrid in-office and virtual work an available option. Individuals should anticipate limited travel to clients.
